All Things New

Well hello there. Its been a while since we last spoke and sooo much has taken place since then. Let's catch-up; Here is a snapshot of what's been going on with the Nut, The Hub, & the 4ACE Crew since the end of 2012 and the start of all things new:

As the year came to an end, we did not know what the new year would bring. We, as a family, found out very quickly that God has some BIG plans up His sleave, starting with a new job for me! Now, along with being the most awesome domestic manager The Husband and Crew could ask for, I will also be teaching at one of the best Christian Academies on this side of the west coast. I was soooo stoked to find this out, 3 years after initially applying and after a few tries subbing in a hardcore district where the kids cuss you out often in their native tongue; I PRAYED fervantly for a change, and God delivered in His most awesome way.

A new and unexpected move was also on the horizon looking into 2013. Thank God it wasn't too far away, and in the blessed house in which The Princess was born. Before I boast or brag, I will declare: MOVING SUCKS! Before we could move in, we had to move out; and by move-out I mean clear 2400 square ft. of personal belongings and arrange them orderly in a 500sq ft garage where they would sit until we finished the new house. We were blessed with the opportunity to re-new the home we would be calling our own for the next 30+ years (God-willing, of course). So I went straight to my Pinterest and pinned away; Rattling off design ideas and creating a headaches for my awesome Uncle Tony and cousin Myrna who patiently exceeded our expectations! (Pics of the re-model to follow soon). Everyone pitched in, including the kids (Thank you all! You are appreciated)

To add to all the newness of the New Year, my beautiful b-town sister was blessed with a new outlook and fresh start, finally reunited with her precious family and all is well. She is healthy and happy and soon to be losing sleep raising her two rascals, but God is good and her faith is growing.
To Conclude, the San Diego sister and I have discovered that the old adage, ask and ye shall receive is a new idea we will be bringing into the year. We found out yesterday on our trip to the salon that if they offer you tea all you have to do is ask for champagne, and voila! There ya have it...I wonder if it works like this elsewhere, we'll have to try it out. So here's to a New Year, fresh start, with happy endings and better beginnings. Be blessed ya'll.
